I recently shot a senior portrait session at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons, (formerly the State Hospital). Marla Shooks and her mother braved the cold temperatures to get some wonderful shots. Shooting in snow is challenging but also rewarding. The lighting was beautiful as it reflected softly from the overcast sky onto the fresh snow. This type of lighting makes a photographer’s job much easier.
